We suggest that the superuser creates a library of messages for use by the whole practice initially that clinicians can then add to.
Start from the settings tab > Preset Messages
All preset messages appear in a list.
Select the plus in the bottom left-hand corner to create a new message.
Title of Message
Create a meaningful title that will make the content obvious to both yourself and other users and to make it easier to locate when searching. Titles appear in the list alphabetically.
Scope of message
'Personal' is visible only to you, 'Organisational' to all in the practice.
Best practice is for one person to create a set of 'Organisational' presets firsts, then others add 'Personal' ones for themselves to avoid duplication.
Content
Type your message and select Create.
Codes
Allows you to specify a code to be automatically applied to the request when your preset message is selected, and written back to the clinical record on completion.

We have seen your request and will respond personally as soon as we can.
They are not in surgery today but will pick up your message on their next working day. You can check 'When is your GP working?' from our askmyGP welcome page.
