If you begin a new Request 'QA' (Question/Answer) but find that you have been disconnected, or you accidentally click off to another website, askmyGP will store the QA in progress so that when you return back to your account, you can pick up where you left off.
If when you return, you find that the old request details are no longer relevant and you wish to change them, you can keep clicking the 'Back' button at the bottom of the screen to go right back to the beginning of the QA and amend what you wrote.
If you are mid-QA and try to navigate away to a different part of the system, you will be prompted to advise that you have not yet finished submitting your request:
Choosing Yes will allow you to proceed, and your progress so far will be saved. The next time you go to submit a new request, you will resume from where you last left the QA.
If you already have a request open and have typed a reply and try to navigate away, you will see a similar message:
Again, the message will still be saved if you choose 'Yes'.
Note: The system will store up to 3 messages/in progress QAs at a time, if you have any more than that, you may find that one of your previously saved messages is no longer stored. It is therefore recommended that you minimise the amount of in progress messages/QAs you have, by ensuring you complete your message and send it all at the same time.
